Shaping a resilient low‑carbon future
2025 is a decisive year for Susdev Group as we translate our climate ambition into disciplined execution across all business segments. The accelerating frequency of extreme weather events, tightening disclosure requirements, and evolving stakeholder expectations affirm a simple truth: climate action is not a parallel initiative, it is the operating system of long term value creation. This report sets out our progress, our near term priorities, and the practical pathways we will use to reduce emissions, build resilience, and support a just transition in the markets where we operate.
Our context and responsibility
As a multinational group with activities in hospitality, property development advisory, and aviation infrastructure insights, our footprint intersects directly with energy use, water stewardship, waste management, and climate related risk. We therefore have a responsibility to manage our own impacts and to influence positive outcomes across our value chain through the standards we adopt, the partners we select, and the data we disclose.
What we achieved in 2025
- Stronger governance for climate: We clarified decision rights for climate topics at the Board and executive levels, embedded climate criteria in investment screening, and aligned cross market working groups to accelerate implementation.
- Emissions and resource progress: We began harmonizing energy and water efficiency practices across hospitality assets, initiated property advisory guidance that prioritizes low embodied carbon materials, and expanded research on climate resilient aviation infrastructure.
- Data foundations: We standardized core climate KPIs, strengthened evidence trails, and prepared internal systems for external assurance in the coming cycle.
Our pathway to decarbonization
We are finalizing the update of our emissions inventory and intensity baselines to inform near term reduction targets. Our decarbonization pathway focuses on four levers: operational efficiency, renewable energy sourcing where feasible, lower carbon design in new or refurbished assets, and supplier engagement that raises environmental performance expectations. We will prioritize actions with clear business cases and measurable outcomes, while adopting transitional steps where market infrastructure is still maturing.
Adaptation and resilience
Mitigation alone is not sufficient. We are enhancing climate resilience through physical risk assessments and practical adaptation measures. Priority areas include site level water management, heat stress mitigation in guest facing operations, and continuity planning for extreme weather. These actions protect our people and assets, and they support service reliability for customers and communities.
People, partners, and a just transition
Climate action must be inclusive. We will expand training so that teams understand both the why and the how of the changes we are making. We will engage suppliers and partners to encourage responsible sourcing and to reward progress. We will listen to communities and regulators in each market to ensure our plans reflect local realities and contribute to shared development goals.
Transparency and next steps
We are committed to credible disclosure and continuous improvement. Over the next reporting cycle we will refine targets, extend coverage of metrics, and seek independent assurance over selected climate indicators. We thank our employees, partners, investors, and community stakeholders for their trust and collaboration. Together, we will keep moving from intent to impact with discipline and sincerity.
